When: Saturday, March 18,
We've decided to cancel the Saturday, January 21st meeting. This winter has proved to be dangerously cold and icy. The past couple of years have provided us with such mild winters that we thought we'd break the "cabin fever" hibernation and meet on our regular third Saturday during the winter. Not so this year! It has been bitterly cold since before Christmas. Rather than risk injury to any of our friends, we've decided not to meet at the Lisle Library until March.

Program: To be announced.
There will be information forthcoming on programs and guests. The first day of Spring is March 20th so we can greet the approaching Spring at our March 18th meeting and finally say good-bye to this brutal winter. Keep warm and safe these next few months. Please call or drop me a note or email, if the spirit moves you.
One last announcement: OWL DuPage will be represented at the Million Women March in Washington, DC in January. I'll bring back news of this exciting event for women. In this troubling political climate for older and mid-life women, keep in mind the words of OWL founder Tish Sommers, "Don't agonize, Organize!"
